Answer: One of the biggest culprits for furnace damage is dirty or blocked ductwork or filters. This can make all the components of your furnace and air conditioner work harder and thus shortening their life.

Question: My families allergies have been bad, can my furnace be causing this?

Answer: Absolutely. As your ductwork gets filled with pet hair, dust, dirt, and other allergens, the fan will push these things out through the vents and into the air you breathe. The best way to help with allergies is to keep clean air ducts and provide good air quality. This can be done with some of the new air quality filtration systems. Call for a furnace check and we can advise you of the available systems that would work.
